A big congratulations to the team! I know you have all done tons of
long and hard work on this module, so it's great to see its release.
We're really proud of the work done by the team. Keep up the good

Wonderful! I will be interested in looking at this. I definitely want to see whether we can incorporate some of this into the Open Concept Lab services so that subscribers could pass back proposals to the server for centralized processing by an editor or curator.

Sorry, but which versions will this module work with?

Hi Andrew,

The module was developed on version 1.9.3. Apart from that, I’m not sure what it’ll work on. My exposure to OpenMRS has been pretty limited apart from involvement in this project. This is something we’re working on improving so we can contribute more in the future.

Regards,
Gil

Hi Timothy,
Many congratulations to the team. I was hoping to test the module but when I click the download button on the modulus (the link you shared) I get a "webpage redirect loop" error! This happens on both chrome and firefox. Please see attached chrome screenshot.

By the way I tried downloading different modules and this behaviour does not happen at all.

Regards,
Willa

Hi Tim,

Thanks for sharing this!

It would be really nice to see a screencast of going through the expected workflow, to give people a sense of this. (I presume it's create concept on client, create proposal & send to server, review proposal on server, ...)

Hi Willa,

We’ve attempted to fix this issue but can’t figure out what’s wrong. In the meantime, you can also download the latest omod directly from the github repo here.

Gil

Hi Gil,
I have downloaded and tried the module on OpenMRS standalone instance version 1.9.7. Here is my feedback.
  1. On the "Create Concept Proposal" page, all fields are marked as required even though only name and email are.
  2. User can create a proposal by specifying their name and email address without any description whatsoever. I can hardly find a way to make such a proposal useful. I would think description should be mandatory.
  3. Well, now I have created a proposal. I can go to the "Manage Proposal" page and see all available proposals. What is the expected next step from here? I mean I think it would be nice if one could do things like approve/delete/accept on a particular proposal.
  4. The "Manage Proposal" link is renamed to "Monitor Proposal". It might nothing but I think it is nice to have these two matching.
This is has been real quick so don't be surprise if I may be wrong in some of my claims :-)

Regards,
Willa.
