Hi Everyone,

I'm building a module that relies on coreapps version 1.4, but I think it's still relying on the referenceapplication 2.1-SNAPSHOT.

[ERROR] Failed to execute goal on project SurvivorMIS-omod: Could not resolve dependencies for project org.openmrs.module:SurvivorMIS-omod:jar:1.0-SNAPSHOT: Failed to collect dependencies at org.openmrs.module:coreapps:pom:1.4: Failed to read artifact descriptor for org.openmrs.module:coreapps:pom:1.4: Failure to find org.openmrs.distro:referenceapplication:pom:2.1-SNAPSHOT in http://mavenrepo.openmrs.org/nexus/content/repositories/public was cached in the local repository, resolution will not be reattempted until the update interval of openmrs-repo has elapsed or updates are forced -> [Help 1]

My Dependency in the omod directory:
<dependency>
  <groupId>org.openmrs.module</groupId>
  <artifactId>coreapps</artifactId>
  <version>1.4</version>
  <type>pom</type>
  <scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Thanks,
Craig

The easiest thing would be to switch that dependency to be on core apps 1.5-snapshot (or whatever the latest is).

This is an interesting downside of our current release process for the reference application (since we release a lot of modules sequentially and can't make them all free of snapshot dependencies).

That's true.

The newest versions of those modules are using 'LATEST', which could be a better solution for your case.

Is it an open source module? If so, would you mind sending me the link to the repository?
