Hi all,

We are using openmrs 1.8.0 WAR and we want to use the REST module. it has a module at the bottom in the module repo list which says the required openmrs version is 1.8.0. but when we try to use that with our openmrs war it gives a spring error which  have pasted here: http://pastebin.com/qKzhjVSL

could someone tell me whether RST could be used with 1.8.0 ? if not is there any way that we can perform REST full calling in 1.8.0 openmrs War? since we have many dependencies with 1.8.0 we are unable to upgrade our war

thanks
regards
Awanthika

The best way to know is to try it and see.

... and I see that you already did that.  I'm not sure why you get that message,  but try turning off any other modules to see if there is a conflict.

Hi Jeremy,

We tried several ways but it doesnt work.. i think the module repo page should be changed to say it depends on 1.8.1 :) there is not much change from 1.8.0 to 1.8.1 it seems we upgraded to 1.8.1 and our other modules are working..

thanks..

Ah, I see.  We run 1.8.2 at Ampath and had no problem with it, so I did not see the problem.  You are right, it should indicate if that is the case (depending on 1.8.1 vs 1.8.0).

What version of the module are you running? You need to upgrade to 1.0+, this and above require 1.8.1

Hi Wyclif,

We tried to run 0.8.21639 against 1.8.0 as it was mentioned to be the required OMRS version in the module repo. but it needs 1.8.1 it seems. it doesnt work against 1.8.0.

Hi Awanthika,

And that is why i said you need to upgrade to 1.0+ of the module because it is where the required version was updated to 1.8.1.
