Integration with DHIS

Hello,

What is the recommended way to integrate OpenMRS with DHIS?

I looked at the DHISConnecter module present in the module repository, but this hasn't been in active development since 2008.

I've also come across this wiki page that lists how integration can be carried out using Reporting, SDMX-HD and and HTML widgets modules in OpenMRS.

Are there any OpenMRS deployments in the wild that integrate with DHIS2? If so, any information around how this integration was accomplished would be helpful.

Hi Varun

You can also take a look at this module on github which currently makes use of sql queries to extract aggregate data from openmrs and posts to dhis using web api:  https://github.com/hispindia/dhisreport

It is being actively used in Shimla, India.
