To the OpenMRS community,

Be part of a cutting edge project! My team at UC-Berkeley is working on an extension to OpenMRS that suggests coded diagnoses to users who enter uncoded diagnoses--based on an underlying machine learning recommendation system. The underlying system uses what's already in the database to predict the diagnosis in a given case.

We need partners--orgs that use OpenMRS like yours--who would like to collaborate in developing a pilot. With this tool, your org could potentially cut down on the manual work of coding previously uncoded diagnoses.

If interested, please reach out. This could be the beginning of an exciting new direction for OpenMRS!

Cheers,

David Greis
