Retrieve HL7 messages through REST/HTTP for a particular concept.

I have an application which needs to get concept values for a particular concept id within a particular range of dates. The response should be in HL7 format. How can I make my application query openmrs to get the above needed response? Are there any REST or HTTP URL's to achieve this functionality?
