Greetings!

I have a use case in which I want to populate entries like patientId, ObsId, and a few custom entries that I created for my module, through an Android application.

Is there any active code connecting Android to OpenmMRS? I tried using ODK Clinic, but seems like the code is too old and there are many issues with it.
Would be great if you can suggest some active code that can serve this purpose.

Also, in other case, can you please drop hints about the approach which I should take to develop my own application, if needed.
A few pointers in that direction will be very helpful.

Thanks and regards
Rakshit

As for hints,

If you do not get any response about an active code base connecting Android and OpenMRS, then starting from the ODK Clinic code base would be an easier approach than doing it all yourself from scratch!!!

Can you please share the source code of the ODK Clinic which is running or better than the one that is shared on their site; the old code seems to have compatibility issues.

The one on the ODK site is the current one.
Yes it has known issues that need being fixed.
It is just that no one has volunteered yet to fix it. You may be the one to become this volunteer :)

Also you can start creating your android application using OpenMRS REST API. :). You will needs to handle your rest client inside the android appropriately.

Sure, I would like to see into ODK Clinic, is their some documentation/design document etc available, apart from the wiki at their site?
Also, what are the current known issues?

I am not aware of any documentation other than that on the wiki.
As for the issues, they are exactly the ones you are facing where you get errors trying to download cohorts, patients, etc.
No one has seriously sat down to start documenting the issues. :)
