Besides the Reporting module, is there any way to readily export all existing patient data as a csv? In addition, it would be useful to know if filters can be applied (in other words, a subset of the existing data can be specified) before exporting.

Try the reporting compatibility module, it has a powerful export as csv function that I'm surprised isn't part of the newer reporting module.

Hi Ibme,

Reporting module is what you need to get your work done. In Nigeria, we are able to export data (patient-level) using the reporting module. Data Export on Report Compatibility module is also an option. For the previous, you will need to write a couple of sql codes while the later presents a drop down list/concept based export.

Thanks very much Aghatise and Opeyemi. I have been testing the data export under reporting compatibility module, but how do I export all observations for a particular cohort ? There is a 'define column' tab and it seems like it needs specification of each and every observation. We have over 100 observations, so I was wondering how you could export 'all observations' for a particular cohort ?

Many Thanks.
