OMF MDS 2.1 Release Candidate

Greetings OMF Community,

A Release Candidate for MDS 2.1 has been submitted for approval.

The Release Candidate and draft release notes may be viewed on GitHub here:

The 2.1 release includes additions around crashes and incidents, delivery, fixed route transit, for-hire autonomous vehicles, real-time digital policy, enforcement and violations, an overhaul and new modes and vehicle types, among many other features.

The Release Candidate is now starting OMF member MDS Steering Committee, Technology Council, and Board review. Follow the refinement progress here, leave feedback, and see the release plan for approval updates as they happen. 

We will review the release in more detail during our standard monthly public MDS Working Group Meetings. If you'd like a video recording and slides showing what's new, see our meeting earlier this month.
