to All Members, Curb Working Group
Hello OMF Member Organizations,
The Open Mobility Foundation (OMF) needs Working Group Steering Committee (WGSC) leadership for our Curb Management Working Group (CDS) for a one year term. Thank you to our past year's members! These leaders guide the OMF working group community’s efforts, including:
- Set a work plan for each release by defining release goals and prioritizing issues - Help run bi-weekly meetings and document decisions - Weigh in on Github issues/discussions - Adjudicate where consensus is elusive - Elevate issues to the appropriate OMF leadership committees - Make final decisions around what is included in each release candidate
The Steering Committee (SC) candidate mix should:
- come from city government, mobility providers, and private companies - have policy chops, transportation experience, leadership skills, technical skills, and/or experience with managing volunteer open source contributors. We want a mix of skills and perspectives, so don't feel like you need all these. - expect to spend 4 to 8 hours per month on the role for a one-year term - nominate only one member per member organization (city, agency, company)
Please fill out this short application if you are interested. You MUST be part of an OMF Member organization! https://forms.gle/ourBhc7m2vQNknUK9
The nomination process will close May 23, 2025. OMF Members will be sent the slate of candidates which will be voted on after nominations close.
