Welcome: MDS 2.0 Cohort

Hi all,

Starting this spring, the OMF will facilitate a cohort to provide peer support to organizations committed to upgrading to MDS 2.0. The group, which is open to all organizations using MDS, will officially kick off in May 2023 after the MDS 2.0 Release Candidate is approved by OMF’s Board. This Google Group will be where participants can access information including meeting info, agendas, discussions, and more. Here’s what it means to participate in the MDS 2.0 upgrade cohort:

Learn and provide feedback

• Get familiar with MDS 2.0, provide feedback on Github and during meetings
• Suggest materials/resources that may be helpful to others

Support the group

• Connect with others to brainstorm ideas and field questions

Spread the word

• Commit to upgrading to MDS 2.0
• Publish blog posts, speak at conferences, or develop case studies about your organizations’ MDS 2.0 use cases and provide advice on the upgrade process

Encourage feature adoption

• Create resources needed to implement features based on cohort needs
• Consider using new features, like publishing Policy Requirements or use case referencing
