Hi,

I installed version v2.5.3 from v2.5.0 and I can't get restpp back up. Tried everything I can think of. Anyone have any thoughts?

=== restpp ===

[m1     ][RESTPP][MSG ]

[m1     ][RESTPP][INIT] False

[m1     ][RESTPP][PROC] False

[SUMMARY][RESTPP] process is down

[SUMMARY][RESTPP] restpp has NOT been initialized

Thank You,
Nick Kapinos

Hi Nicholas,

Could you check a few things:

1. ps aux | grep restpp, see if another restpp process is running.

2. gadmin log restpp, then check the last few lines of restpp_1_1.out

Thanks.

$ ps aux | grep restpp

tigergr+  2508  0.0  0.0 112708   984 pts/0    S+   11:24   0:00 grep --color=auto restpp

Would it have anything to do with this error?
E0313 15:29:42.540160 28465 gconfig_general.cpp:321] Graph PROVIDER_CALLER_ID_DEV failed to get end points. List endpoints files failed. rc:kNotFound

Have you got any error during your installation?

do you have this folder and this file?
 /home/tigergraph/.gsql_fcgi/RESTPP.socket.1

Thanks.

Could you try to create that folder and try commands:
touch /home/tigergraph/.gsql_fcgi/RESTPP.socket.1
chmod 644 /home/tigergraph/.gsql_fcgi/RESTPP.socket.1
Thanks.
