The proposal seems pretty reasonable, but it's worth noting that it depends on GNIP 19. Maybe as a rule of thumb it would be a good idea to hold off on proposals that are blocked by approval of another one, I see some potential for confusion here.

Note that Eldarion has gone ahead and done the work on the profile
migrations (I havent tested it personally though). It is my hope that
we use GNIP 19 to discuss migrations in general, and the use of South
specifically.
