GeoNode - GeoServer Authentication

Hi, 

I am developing multitenancy sites using geonode, where there are multiple database schemas and different datastores for each geonode instance. The first/ base geonode instance works fine. The other subsites/ instances have an issue with geonode - geoserver authentication where I have to log into geonode and geoserver to be able to view the layers, otherwise I do get the pink tiles. I did try adding different geonodeAuthProvider for each subsite, I wasn't successful.

Any help OR guidance would be highly appreciated.
