Hi!

I have created isochrons in time (ms) and opened them in a depth scene (using linear velocity). My aim is to add contour lines with depth value labels of each 1m contour.

My problems are:

I'm able to add contours in the 3d-view, but I can only get the values of one or two lines to show, regardless of how few steps I use.

I thought it would be easier to work with the data in the basemap, but I can't figure out how to chose which scene to be viewed in the basemap view. I only get the velocity scene to show, not the depth scene. Is it possible to see the depth scene?

Would really appreciate getting clarification on this!

Thanks a lot
/Malin

Hi Malin,

I can't reproduce your problem. I added a depth scene with a linear velocity model (Vint = 2500 m/s in the test). I could add contours at user-defined intervals (display below: upper image is 2WT; lower is depth). To add depth contours in the basemap in a survey that is setup in time, is not straightforward. You can do this by creating a new horizon using the Horizon Mathematics tool in OpendTect Pro (upper-right corner). Horizon Mathematics is launched from the Processing menu.

Best regards,
Paul.
