[OpendTect_Users] Coordinate Reference Systems Transformation

Hi, 

Please share some guides to transform objects and seismic from different coordinate reference systems to such defined for our interpretation project.

Hi Camilo,

Objects imported on the basis of inline and crossline numbers get X,Y coordinates assigned as defined in the setup of your survey. If you import objects on the basis of X,Y coordinates, you need to specify the coordinate reference system (CRS) of these X,Y values. OpendTect will automatically transform these coordinates to the CRS that is defined in the survey setup. As an example, see the import window of a Pointset / Polygon file below.
