Hello all,

I'm picking a bunch of faults this weekend, and aside from some general strange behavior when picking faults, I'm getting this when closing OpendTect...  I didn't think you could duplicate fault names. Is there really only on IL_F027? Are there two separate faults? Will I lose some of the work I did?

I meant "really only one IL_F027", of course.

Hello Sir,

You likely displayed the same fault twice in the tree and edited one of the duplicates without saving. This would trigger the message you see when trying to close OpendTect.

Best regards,
Hesham

Hi Hesham,

Yes - that was it. This was a case of OpendTect doing exactly what I told it to do instead of what I wanted it to do.

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,
After working with all kinds of software over 50 years, that was one of the best comments I've ever read! Love it!
