We have made a pre-release of our next stable version OpendTect 6.4 for the developers. This release is currently available for Linux 64-bit and Windows (both 64-bit and 32-bit). The release for Mac OS will follow shortly.
To install it, you will have to use the OpendTect Installer from the Utilities menu or downloaded from the website. Select Release type 'OpendTect 6.4 (development)' from the drop down menu in the Installer main window.
The API for v6.4 has been kept almost identical to that in v6.2 (with rare exceptions). With today's pre-release we have frozen the ABI which essentially means that the plugins built against this release will be binary compatible with all future 6.4 releases.
