Hi,

I am working on the Poseidon 3D. I am getting an Error No valid data found when I attempt to Create Attribute Log.

Would appreciate any suggestion to what is causing this error message. I can display the well with all the available logs on the 3D display. Both checkshot (time depth model) and deviation tables seem to be OK.

I tried extracting between markers, which don't exist with default selected zone start of data to end of data, and specifying a depth range. Both give the same error message.

Your guidance and suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Sami,

I am currently working on the same dataset for my MSc.  I have been working with it for a several years part time now and have been able to create an attribute log without using any markers or depth range, simply selecting the volume with which to make the log. I can also create a log using depths or horizons. Does the function work if you only input a volume selection and do not try and provide a range?

Ryan,

Thanks for the comments. Actually after I sent the email, I tried again and must have triggered something in the log curves display that caused it to work properly again. I don't know what I did but it is now working properly. Yes, I can create a log attribute with horizons option even though there are none in the project.

I am impressed with the fact that when exporting all extracted attribute curves along with the original log in one las file, it outputs nans for all the seismically extracted attribute where there are no log values.  I am using those as features to externally build an ML model.
