BBSIM -- received OMCI message with wrong device identifier

Hi

I am trying to set up VOLTHA (single node) with BBSIM with one PON and two ONUs. The simulated OLT and ONUs enabled/activated successfully. But after ONU activation, I keep getting the following error message, l"received omci-message with wrong Device Identifier - abort" DeviceIdent=0 module=OMCI".   See below additional information from bbsim log.

I would appreciate if someone could offer any suggestion about how to fix this problem. I am stuck for couple of days trying to debug this problem and I am not making any progress.

HI Stephen,

The omci message type sent by the onu adapter is not in correct format, the current master and 2.12 relase branches run fine.

Is there any  change you have done in onu-adapter code, can you please enable debug log in openolt adapter and share me the logs. i would need the log where the omci packet dump is captured in the onu adapter
