Sending mails to owner of Series

Hi all,

i need a way to send mails to owner of a series when the recording is ready for cutting.

Is there a way to get from the owner-name of the series to the oc-user-mail address with Opencast workflow operationhandlers?

Or is there a way to use an appropriate dublincore metadata field?

Otherwise i attend to enhance the send-mail woh to search for users in the oc-users system.

Any one any idea to this?

Hi,

    Please see https://docs.opencast.org/r/11.x/admin/#workflowoperationhandlers/send-email-woh/

    You can use a DC field from the episode or series catalog attached to the media package e.g. ${catalogs['episode']['publisher']}. If you have the user name as a field in the dc catalog, Opencast will get that user's email from the system (if there's one).
