Hi Sagar,

Are your worker node(s) online, and all of their services in good states?

Hi all.

We had the same problem on 2.2.2, and although it might not be the same issue here, it may be worth a check to see if ypur opencast instance is able to find and execute ffmpeg and ffprobe. We had to do a reinstall and created new symlinks for our workflow to get past this problem. It seemed the opencast service (for reasons still unknown) wasn't able to find the ffm* related processes.
Regards
Hans

Hi Hans,

Existing videos are also not playing. ffmpeg and ffprobe commands are working fine.
Please give me steps to follow to fix it.

Thanks,
Sagar

Hi Sagar,

Opencast is a collection of services, some of which are probably unavailable.  The list of services is available in the administrative user interface, so please take a look there to see which one(s) are offline or in need of maintenance.

In terms of existing videos not playing, I'm not sure what's going on.  We'll need to see the log files for the presentation/distribution node at the very least, and possibly the admin node as well.  Please attach a copy of those logs starting at the most recent restart of Opencast and hopefully we can diagnose.
