Opencast (SWITCHcast) and Moodle: Webinar

With SWITCHcast providing the API, the University of Lausanne created an Opencast plugin for Moodle, cf. https://tube.switch.ch/videos/f504570b and https://github.com/ndunand/moodle-mod_switchcast for details. If you like what you see: A reviewer is still required to for Sven’s pull request. And could someone forward this to the Moodle world please?

thanks for sharing this. It sounds good for the Moodle community.

I didn't watch the entire webinar, so can you tell shortly what's the difference to or what's better than LTI integration of Opencast and Moodle? 

And does it work out of the box with vanilla Opencast installations?
