Hello,

I installed OpenCast Studio and I can record my screen and my voice successfully (and I could probably record myself too if I connect a cam to my computer)

Now I would like to know if there is a way to also record sounds played "in the computer" when I'm recording ?

Example to illustrate :
 - I start an mp3
 - I start to record my screen with opencast studio
=> I would like to get a video with my screen and the sound of the mp3 together.

Have a nice day,
Mathieu

Hi Mathieu,

yes, Opencast Studio can do that... at least in browsers that support
it. See the list in [1] for details, but in short: Chrome & Edge on
Windows fully support desktop audio capture. On Linux and macOS, those
browser can only capture audio when sharing a single tab. Other
combinations don't really work.

See the attachment for a screenshot of Chrome: there, at the bottom, it
says "Also share tab audio", for example.

Thanks for your answer :-)

It was my fault, I installed release 2023-09-14 and I didn't pay attention to the new version.
It's works now with release 2023-12-06

Have a good day :-)
