Opencast 14.2.0 Series not showing inNCast channels

Hi,

We have updated Opencast to version 14.2.0 and now the Series are not shown in our Ncast Hydra units when setting channels and connecting them to each Series.

As anything changed on the Opencast between Opencast 9 (we were running until last Spring) and 14?

Just wanted to add that the API calls still works at https://our.opencast.url/api/series/

Hi Jean-François,
if the NCast devices are actually using the /api/ endpoints for this,
that should be fine, but given how old their integration is, it could
also be that they were still using the internal API of the series
service. Maybe you can take a look at a tcpdump or the Nginx logs to be
sure.

If the latter, the fulltext search capability of the series service
itself has been removed along with the series service in Opencast 12:

Maybe that's causing the problem?

I will take a look at the Nginx logs and reach out to NCast regarding this.
