Hi friends,

After I installed Opencast 11.6 according to the official doc, it didn't work. I checked the /var/log/opencast/opencast.log, there was only one ERROR in it:

org.opencastproject.userdirectory.JpaGroupRoleProvider(313)] : Timeout waiting for reg change to complete unregistered

I cannot figure it out. Could somebody help me, pls?

Hi Fish,

That's... odd.  Have you gotten this working in the meantime?  Does it still happen with the latest 11.x release?  Which packaging type are you using?

I've seen that message when shutting down Opencast, but that's not very important when Opencast is just about to shut down.  Opencast certainly shouldn't be unregistering(!) the core group role provider as part of startup.
