Hello community,

I am writing to share my experience with a dysfunction in publishing engage to AWS. Since upgrading to version 13 of Opencast, it seems that the "merge" setting no longer allows content to be published. By removing this parameter and returning to the default setting, which is a retract-publish, the media transmission is successful and everything works properly.

It's possible that the index functionality may be the cause of the issue, given the following sequence I read in the log:

2023-05-01T15:19:19,419 | INFO | (PublishEngageWorkflowOperationHandler:697) - The search service doesn't know mediapackage 066aca6f-79b4-4847-af6d-065974b80773. 2023-05-01T15:19:19,420 | INFO | (PublishEngageWorkflowOperationHandler:261) - Skipping republish for 066aca6f-79b4-4847-af6d-065974b80773 since it is not currently published.

However, this implies that "merge" is not being properly evaluated. Am I the only one who has noticed this? Is it caused by another mechanism that I may have overlooked?

Your feedback is always welcome.
