caption file adding in videos

Hi 

I am using matterhorn 1.3.1 and working good. But I am not able to add the caption to the videos. I have gone through the video http://opencast-dev.berkeley.edu/matterhorn/add-captions  but did not find any add caption option in encode analyze and distribute, as mentioned in the video. Plz help me to solve the problem .... I appreciate any help provided.

Amit, 

The ability to hold for caption upload (as shown in that demo video) was not available in 1.3 (it broke due to other changes so was removed). Instead, in 1.3, you could use the multifile upload function to add a caption file along with your video file; let us know if you can't find that option. (Unfortunately there was no way to add captions to scheduled recordings in 1.3.)

The functionality has been returned in 1.4 (thanks to work by Xavier of Entwine).

I just wanted to know how trimming and clipping of videos are possible with matterhorn..do we require to use any third party tool for this!?and what about search for a text within a video in matterhorn.....
