Implementation of Shibboleth like Service Provider (using protocol SAML) and its integration with Opencast

Hi Guys,

We need Implement Opencast with "single sign on", for this reason we must configure Opencast like Service Provider, we have review opencast documentation https://docs.opencast.org/r/8.x/admin/#configuration/security.aai/, it mencionates that uses Shibboleth like Service Provider but we haven't managed to generate XML metadata.

For this reason we request your help please:

Do you have more documentation, examples or Information about AAI or Implementation of Shibboleth like Service Provider (using protocol SAML) and its integration with Opencast?

Dear César

Shibboleth Service Providers (Proveedores de Servicio (SP)) need to be registered at a Shibboleth Federation. In Chile, the Shibboleth Federation for higher education education institutions is operated by Reuna and called COFRe (see https://www.reuna.cl/servicios/identidad-y-seguridad/#cofre).

In case your questions are about how a Shibboleth Service Provider is setup and registered at COFRe (so far, this is not specific to Opencast), you should contact Reuna directly.

If you manage to setup the Shibboleth Service Provider and register t at COFRe, making it work with Opencast is quite easy.
