Hi,

I was tried to install today Matterhorn on my virtual ubuntu server 15.04

I first installed all packages which are necessary for Matterhorn.
openjdk-8-jdk
ffmpeg
maven(3.3.3)
tesseract-ocr(3.04.00)
hunspell(1.3.3.)
sox(14.4.1)

After I type mvn clean install in terminal, I receive some errors.

From your log: “jdk14:jar:1.7.12: Could not transfer artifact org.slf4j:slf4j-jdk14:pom:1.7.12 from/to central (https://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2): java.lang.RuntimeException: Unexpected error: java.security.InvalidAlgorithmParameterException: the trustAnchors parameter must be non-empty"

This might be related https://bugs.debian.org/775775

People have posted suggestions on the internet on how to update the java ca-certificate on Ubuntu to resolve the jdk-8 cert issue. I don’t know enough about this myself to offer a recommendation.
