Hi everyone,

it is our pleasure to announce that Opencast 17.8 has been released:

The documentation for this release can be found at:

• docs.opencast.org/r/17.x/admin/

This version contains security fixes! This includes a security fix for PaellaPlayer and the Opencast Editor. It is advised to update to this version in a timely fashion.

There are also new versions of both the admin ui and the editor included.

RPM, Debian packages and Docker images will be available soon. Watch for announcements in the matrix channel.
