Hi everyone,
it is our pleasure to announce that Opencast 17.6 has been released:

This version contains a security fix! It is advised to update to this version in a timely fashion. For more information check the Release Notes.
Apart from that, this release contains multiple bug fixes, e.g. for timeouts in Stud.IP and multi-threading for WhisperCPP as well as snapshot deletion for remote storage.
There are also new versions of both the admin ui and the editor included.
RPM, Debian packages and Docker images will be available soon. Watch for announcements in the matrix channel.
