Basically we don't have "protocol" in side Intent framework

We put network policy(I/Egress ports, selectors....) into a high level Intent (e.g. SinglePointToMultiPointIntent)

The Intent compilers will compiles high level Intents to low level Intents (e.g.LinkCollectionIntent), finally compile to installable Intents (e.g. FlowRuleIntent)

And install installable Intents by using Intent installer.

Intent framework belongs to Northbound

For protocols, I think you need to implement it in Southbound
