Please explain the difference between "discrete and continuous data".
I got incorrect answers for most of the questions regarding this in activity questions.

Discrete data is information that can only take certain values.
Continuous data is data that can take any value. Height, weight, temperature, and length are all examples of continuous data.
For example,
height can be 152.36cm,168.29cm,......it can take any vale upto any decimal place you want.
But this is not the case with discrete. Discrete data allows only certain values which are fixed. Like number of days is discrete. eg. 1day, 2days, 36days,..... they are fixed. mostly you won't say that it took me 5.35 days to complete my school project. you would either say 5 days or 6 days (generally speaking).

HOPE IT HELPS. ;)
