Number of days a group of students take to finish a school project is a:

Quantitative and Discrete variable

Quantitative and Continuous variable

Qualitative variable

Quantitative but not discrete or continuous variable

The number of days can be 2days and 10hours (both are units of time) so why it is discrete variable ?
