1) why is "rank" a ratio and interval scale? i mean we can't perform arithmatics on a rank

2) Is time numerical or categorical ?

I think yes because 2 pm has a unit of measurement which is Hour

3) Why is "rating a book on a scale of 1-5" an Interval scale? we can possibly perform maths on it as it must be categorical because rating doesn't have a unit of measurement
