The annual APHA meeting is always exciting! It is in Washington, DC this week, from November 2-5. The agenda is loaded with interesting scientific sessions, a huge exhibit hall, great section meetings, and many social events. Because it is in Washington, DC, there will be many opportunities to meet with elected officials and others involved in the government.

If I receive responses, I will post another email to encourage “communication and collaboration”(!) as we discussed during the April 2025 Online Omaha System Update Conference! 1. Heard that APHA was wonderful! Glynnis LaRosa, Arkers Wong, and Jiwon Kang sent emails and said they were attending! Have asked them to send photos for the Photo Gallery so watch for those to be posted soon.
2. Kim de Groot (k.de...@nivel.nl) posted a message on Tuesday about AMIA. She asked those of you who are attending to respond to her personally as soon as possible. If you give her your permission, she will include your name on a message she re-posts to increase “communication and collaboration” among Omaha System Listserv members in Atlanta! Look forward to seeing photos from AMIA, too—and more new members for the Listserv!
