Champ Software would like to invite you to join us for Training on the Rural Health Information Hub (RHIhub), the next session in Champ Software’s quarterly Expert Webinar Series. We are pleased to sponsor this important training, presented by Erin Lord Kunz.
Erin Lord Kunz joined the Rural Health Information Hub in January 2022 as an Information Specialist. In this role, Erin identifies and indexes resources to the RHIhub website, creating easy access for people seeking information on rural health-related issues. She provides assistance through our Resource and Referral Service, as well as writing and maintaining topic and state guides.
Erin’s focuses are social determinants of health, maternal health, healthcare access, and more. She also acts as the liaison to states in the central United States. This position allows Erin to use her background in English and her skill set in reading, writing, and researching. Erin was drawn to RHIhub for its work on rural health awareness and providing access to information. She wanted to combine her passions of research and writing to aid rural communities.
In 2010, Erin received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of North Dakota. She received her Master of Arts in 2012 and earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in educational foundations and research in 2016. Prior to her position at RHIhub, Erin worked as an English faculty member, writing program administrator, and writing center director. She has published several peer-reviewed articles on topics such as writing instruction, environmental education, and motherhood.
Event Details:
The Rural Health Information Hub (RHIhub) is funded by the Federal Office of Rural health Policy and serves as an information clearinghouse for rural health issues. This RHIhub walkthrough will discuss features of the site, such as the funding library, the resource library, state pages and topic guides, the rural data explorer, and RHIhub content and tools. The site walkthrough will provide users with information about the site, instructions on how the site can be used, and guidance on how RHIhub can support the work of rural health stakeholders.
