Warm Greetings!

As Generative AI (GenAI) continues to transform healthcare, there is an urgent need to define how nursing students should engage with these tools. Current nursing curricula must evolve to keep pace with rapid technological shifts. This study uses a Delphi approach to build consensus on the essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for the next generation of nurses. Your insights will directly provide educators and institutions with the actionable framework needed to lead this innovation. We are reaching out to you because of your expertise in this field, and we invite you to help us develop a GenAI Competency Framework specifically for nursing education.

What Participation Involves
To ensure a robust consensus, we are looking for experts to commit to a two-stage process:
• Timeline: Two rounds of online surveys conducted in March 2026.
• Time Commitment: Approximately 15–30 minutes per survey.
• Process: Sign a digital informed consent form and complete both survey rounds.

Recognition of Your Time
To show our appreciation for your valuable contribution and time, you will receive a $25 Visa gift card upon the completion of both surveys.

How to Join
All the Omaha System community members can submit the interest request. If you are interested in helping us define the future of nursing education, please complete this brief interest form by Feb 27, 2026: AI Nurse Education Competencies-Delphi Study

Thank you for considering this opportunity to contribute to a critical milestone in healthcare education.
