Proposed Info Mailer / Meeting Handout

Board Members and Officers:

I am proposing this quickly assembled and limited info pack for a couple of reasons.  

Perhaps a direct mailing, similar to mine, in advance of May 20 is warranted. At least please consider producing handouts at the info meeting on May 20.  I have long been concerned over our ability to reach as many residents as possible.  Until yesterday the majority of WPCA and BOG meetings have been only sparsely attended.  While we had 90 plus participants last night, when discounted for board members, guests, uninvited guests, and multiple participants from certain properties, we probably had no more than 70 people on the call who may not have participated in the past.  Seventy (70) out of 192 is problematic.  So, as many as two-thirds of residents will be relying on word-of-mouth opinion and limited factual information.

Also, IMHO, the current trajectory of the meeting discussions, commentary, tone, and endless pontifications are (intentionally?) driving towards a no vote. 

Many agree a no vote would not end well for OLSBA.
