Paceline Practice at Sauvie Island, August 1st, with River City Rippits

Hello OBRA community, 

I wanted to share that the River City Rippits are hosting a paceline practice session this Saturday, August 1st out on Sauvie Island. The Rippits are a newly formed community group, and race team as of this year. *Ribbit*

The practice is for people new to or curious about racing or riding in larger groups, but we also welcome those who want to practice their paceline skills. This session is centered around people who identify as women, non-binary, and/or femme. We will cover basic rider etiquette and how to move through a paceline safely and efficiently.  As many of you know, paceline skills are essential for developing race and group riding skills, but they can be very intimidating. We want to create a friendly and open environment for asking questions and learning. Please share this with friends who may not yet be part of the OBRA community.
