WELCOME Racers, Riders and all who own a 2-wheeled bicycle, non-recumbent and no aero bars

A warm hello to kick off the Oregon Triple Crown Series and to Pendleton, Oregon

Just a hello to the OBRA list as Mudslinger Kicks off an exciting year and close to 30 years of events in our great state of Oregon. 

One notable update we can now allow Class 3 ebikes, so Pedal Assist is in the air as long as its worthy of the smooth to rugged nature of Pendlton, Oregon

Weather & Gear Recommendations

🌡️ Forecast: Low 35°F | High 52°F – No rain expected and the terrain is firm no matter what, or the locals say they can't grade the roads in most places due to how hard the sub surface is.

💨 Eastern Oregon can be unpredictable, so bring a packable jacket and a solid base layer to stay comfortable.

Course Notes & Safety

🐑 Lambing Season & Guard Dogs:

  • Possible guard dogs between miles 46-52 due to lambing season.
  • We are awaiting confirmation that lambs will be moved, but as in past years, exercise caution.
  • If pre-riding, wait for the dogs to retreat before proceeding—do not be seen as a threat to livestock.

🚉 Train Crossings at Approx. Miles 42 & 43 (Long Loop)

  • Just past Aid 2/3 "The Hub"
  • Trains may pass—be prepared for a possible stop.
  • Finish top of hill a mile from the Venue. Please come back to the Park first to remove your timing Chip
