Dear OBRA Community,

As the season winds down and we enter the holiday season, I want to remind the community of a few things that are happening and coming up. 

1. The final OBRA races of the season are this weekend in Eugene at the Oak Hill Cyclocross races on December 7 & 8. Whether you need one last training race before nationals or get you last fix of CX for 2024. I encourage everyone to head to Eugene to see what the folks at Twilight Operations have in store.

2. The deadline for submitting proposals to amend the OBRA racing rules is December 15. Please email your proposal to me at cke...@obra.org The proposals will be reviewed by a committee made up of 3 board members, one race promoter and one official.

3. There are two open positions on the OBRA board of directors that are up for election at this year’s annual meeting. If you are interested in running for the board and have questions about serving on the board, please email me at cke...@obra.org and board president Stacy Westbrook at swest...@obra.org

Finally, the cost of an annual OBRA membership will remain the same in 2025: $50 for adults, $10 for U-23 and free for juniors 2025 Memberships are on sale now and are discounted to $40 for the month of December. When you renew this year, please consider making a donation to OBRA to support our activities and to help OBRA continue to provide affordable insurance, equipment and marketing to our race promoters.

Joel has been working hard to renew our partnerships that offer OBRA members discounts for 2025. We even have some new ones to announce in the coming days. Our current partners are:
