The second chance to chase lions this years comes on Sunday, May 19 when La Doyenne rolls from 9898 SE Knapp St. at 9 AM Usual skratch aid station and New Belgium finish line.

RONDE RECAP

If you weren’t there on April 21, you missed the BEST RONDE PDX EVER! Well…at least since 2020. At the start of the Ronde this year, in addition to the Nossa Familia Coffee, we added donated delights from Henry Higgins Boiled Bagels and St. Honore Bakery. We raised $168 for the Nossa Familia Coffee Giveback Fund.

At the archery range, hungry and thirsty riders plowed through all the Skratch Labs and Miriam-curated goodies and donated $504 to Gifted Wishes Foundation.

Our hill climbing fiends were rewarded in the finish line sunshine on Council Crest with New Belgium Brewing beer where they donated $543 to the Community Cycling Center. That’s $1215 raised in one day for great causes!

Let’s keep up that generosity at La Doyenne and the three other remaining PDX Classics this year. Thanks to everyone who rode slowly and respectfully through Sylvan Highlands. We made ourselves some new friends in the neighborhood. :-)
