Tabor 2026 Recap

Hi all - 

Kevin and I would like to thank the cycling community for making the 2026 Tabor race series an amazing one. Although it ended with our second ever race night cancellation since Y2K, we were at least able to get some fields out there and sorted (Cat 5 and Masters 40+ were close ones!).

We would love to thank each and every OBRA official, volunteer, racer, and spectator for coming out. If you volunteered at any point please shoot me a separate email and I will provide you with a Nossa Familia e-gift card!

Special thanks for River City Bikes for making our race not only possible, but elevating the experience for everyone that shows up. Please show them your support with any bicycle or bicycle adjacent needs.

Thank you to our other sponsors - Yakima Racks, Nossa Familia, Finishline, Wahoo Fitness, Adidas Five Ten, A2 Bikes, Assos, The Athletic, Bart's Barbershop, Tres Bone, and our own personal parts bins for taking care of primes as well as series prizes for our Junior, Senior and beginner categories. Without them we would feel really un-legit, with them we feel like a million bucks being able to give out product.

Shout out to Deschutes Brewing for keeping us stocked with beer of both full octane and NA varietals!

Once the dust settles I will complete the series standings file to share with OBRA and have online. For those categories that did not get to race last night, the standings will be based on your overall placement after week 7's completion. In the one case, that I know of off the top of my head, a series tie goes to the higher placed finisher in the latest race - so sorry Jeremy Russell!

We already look forward to hosting you all next year, but for now Kevin and I need to have a beer and a burger and brainstorm.
