Accommodations near Dalles Omnium

Hi,

I have never stayed in the Hood River/Dalles area.  Might need to bring my dog along which makes both Airbnb and hotel options more limited.

Do people have favored places that they stay at, either with or without pets *(I.e. hotel or lodges)?

My daughter said avoid The Dalles and there are nicer places in Hood river. From a practical perspective I need to be at the race both days, so something less than 30’ min away is probably best.

I normally prefer to eat my own food at races so something with a kitchen (even if just for breakfast) is often better
