Bear Springs Trap XC update

All, I'm pleased to announce that the classic and epic Bear Springs Trap XC is ON for this spring! The race date is Sunday, May 5 -- and start time is 11am.
The snow situation is the best it's been in years, and the weather looks great from here forward. Even better, the trails that were closed due to multiple fires since 2020 are now open -- and some have been re-built and restored. This includes the Upper Rim Rock Trail, too. :)
We started clearing the course yesterday. That trail work will continue thru April 30. A new course map and GPS route file will be available once the work is done.
Registration will be open online next week. Look for more event details by then, too!
