Kofola is a Czech version of Coca Cola.

An old Czech tradition claims that if you fast on Christmas Eve you will see a golden piglet on the wall in the evening?!  This tradition dates probably back to the Pagan times.  A pig was a symbol of the Sun. During the winter solstice, around Christmas (Dec 21, 2014), the Sun takes over and the nights get shorter.

Táta:                      No, a když to vydržíš až do večera … nepapat … tak uvidíš zlatý prasátko.

       [Táta řeže strom.]

Dcerka:                 A tati?

Táta                       No?

Dcerka:                 A mohlo by to prasátko být třeba větší než já?

Táta                       To víš, že mohlo.

Dcerka:                 A tati?

Táta                       Ano?

Dcerka:                 A bude mít ty velký zahnutý zuby nahoru?

Táta                       No, velký zuby. ..když vydržíš nejíst, budou i zuby.

Dcerka:                 Ne, ne, já nemusím… Já už ho vidím.

Oba:                      Jé…! [Oba utíkají.]
