If you are in New York between December 19 - January 5 ...
Don't miss this highly entertaining marionette show created by the irreverent NY master puppeteer Vit Horejs!
A Christmas Carol
Oy, Hannukah! Merry Kwanza!
A witty cross-cultural holiday extravaganza with marionettes!
For
ages 5 to 105!
The show is a blend of English, Jewish, African, American and Czech winter rituals and customs, and laced with Vit's Czech sense of humor.
He and over thirty Czech marionettes (some pre-owned by Madeleine Albright) will be joined by two multi-lingual and multi-talented New York singers, Katarina Vizina, a native of Slovakia, and Valois Mickens of West African, Celtic and Native American origin. They will perform songs in Czech, English, Hebrew, Slovak, Spanish & Swahili.
The show promises a truly unique holiday experience!
Near NYU, at the Theater for the New City! (151 First Avenue @ E 10th St.)
