- Updates on the new SACO change project workflow (10 minutes), Heidy Berthoud
Abstract: Beginning in January 2025, PTCP is implementing a new project management workflow for subject change proposal projects.
- Updates on the Medical Subject Funnel (5 minutes), Kat Balek
- Discussion on recent SACO developments; or, Rethinking the PTCP and SACO Funnel relationship (15 minutes), Violet Fox
Abstract: A short presentation on changes in the LCSH approval process since 2017 and a discussion about what those changes mean for the future of the SACO process. Given PTCP’s shift towards more openness to collaboration, what kind of changes do funnel leaders & PTCP need to make to ensure continued progress?
Open Q&A and Community Discussion (25 minutes)
· An opportunity for attendees to get feedback on proposal ideas.
· Discussion of what the SACO community wants out of a SACO forum: News from PTCP? Funnel updates? Training? Proposal discussions?
